How did Zardosi start?

Zardosi is an online shopping company created in March 2008 with the aim of providing an exclusive range of Bollywood Bridal Wear, Evening Glamour, Casual Wear and Costume Jewellery. Like us, most Asian women love watching Bollywood films and have always wanted to own similar outfits worn by the glamorous Bollywood actress. Having researched the market we found there was nothing available to women in the UK so after 3 years of  researching, designing and creating Zardosi was formed

Having always had an interest in Asian bridal wear and fashion, and attended so many Asian weddings and seeing sisters, relatives, friends get married the whole the stages people go through to plan their wedding outfit finding the right style colour fitting accessory etc  is very exciting but can be very very stressful!

There are a lot of shops which have bridal wear, but the quality of the material and embroidery are not very good. they looks dazzly and sparkly from far but close up it embroidery is not very durable and often beads and sequins do fall off easily. But these clothes are made to look attractive on the eye instead of lasting a long time; you can never really find exactly what you want unless you fork out thousands of pounds for it.
